Week 3: By the sea
¡Bienvenido a España! I hope you had a pleasant train ride!
While tapas would be a fun Sunday dinner idea for Spain, I find tapas for two to be sad. Lots of work and unable to share it! However, that didn't stop Richard from starting the evening with a little pan con tomate.
We've so far on this journey enjoyed beef and chicken, so it's nice to mix it up with some seafood this week, especially now that we're close to the Mediterranean Sea.
This weeks' menu:
- pan con tomate tapa
- fletán al chorizo
- patatas bravas
- padrones con jerez
- Pedro Ximénez digestif
We're just getting started, folks! Our next destination can be traveled to by bus or by train, but to get there we've decided a nice cheap flight will do.
See you next week!
Looks good but what kind of fish is it? This reminds me of our time in Barcelona and eating at the tapas bars where they counted you toothpicks to decide what to charge you.
